Is Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo Any Good?

David DeAngelo’s book covers a lot of topics, but the ones I found most interesting were:
- being yourself
- differences between the sexes
- dispelling myths and misconceptions
Should you just being yourself?
The author stresses that men should not worry about being themselves, but they should focus on being the best self he can be. I see that a lot of guys try and be themselves and then are not successful with women, so I think it is very important to first learn how to be attractive to girls. So you need to stop being yourself for a while and learn how to get girls, then make that be your true self!
What are the differences between the sexes?
In the book, David talks about how men and women differ and why men nowadays are confused. Most men in modern society have become brainwashed by the media. They believe that they need to be nice guys, or wussy boys in order to get women. That is the point where things start to go wrong and problems begin. Women like men who act like men. I find it interesting that a lot of guys are totally confused and start to act like girls. That’s a big part of the reason as to why some guys don’t get women, because they don’t act like a man, but instead act like women!
Misconceptions dispelled
Society has given the impression to men that in order to get women they need to be either, tall, handsome, rich or powerful. This is totally false and not true. This is because having these qualities all serve to present to the women that a guy with this things have a higher social value. But in order to have higher social value, a guy doesn’t need to have these materialistic things. DeAngelo gives you great advice on how to make these qualities part of your personality so that you also can get women without being rich or famous!
