Tropic Thunder: Desperate to get more out of his spoiled actors, while filming an epic war Vietnam War film, director Damien Cockburn makes a bold move. He litters the jungle with cameras, plans some diversions, and throws the actors in the jungle on their own to fend for themselves. They think it’s only a movie, but soon the bullets coming at the actors are real.
The Dying Gaul: Mourning author of an autobiographical screenplay gets to be erotically intertwined with a smooth creator, who offers him 1,000,000 dollars to produce the venture as long as he makes the gay protagonists un-crooked. In the mean time, he gets to be spiritually intertwined with the creator’s desolate spouse, a prior screenwriter turned stay-at-home mamma. Twirls, catastrophes, and fine behaviors mark this brilliant although thick personality research. Cast includes Patricia Clarkson, Campbell Scott, Peter Sarsgaard, Ryan .Miller, Robin Bartlett, Linda Emond, and Jason-Shane Scott. (101 minutes, 2005)

There is a big poker tournament coming up, and Maverick needs to raise a few thousand more for his entry into the winner take all event. He gets into the tournament and gets his shot at the huge prize.
The Thomas Crown Affair: Thomas Crown is a billionaire. He has an interesting hobby. When a priceless Monet is stolen, who would suspect the wealth Crown? Investigator Catherine Banning is hot on his trail, and Crown is truly relishing the cat and mouse games that ensue.
House on Haunted Hill: Boring redo of the 1958 film, with 2 offensive “hosts”, a poisonous wedded couple (Hurry, Janssen) having a list of 5 outsiders coming to visit. Each one might receive a million dollars for subsisting the night in a prior psych ward with a bloodstained past. Cast includes Geoffrey Hurry, Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs, Bridgette Wilson, Peter Gallagher, Chris Kattan, Ali Larter, Max Perlich, Jeffrey Combs, and Lisa Loeb. (93 minutes, 1999)
Saw: Two men are trapped in a room. Both men are chained to their half of the room. A story unfolds as these two people are given clues and information about the situation they are in and why. Can they solve the puzzle and get out alive?
Role Model: Two adolescent adults crash the company truck while partying. To avoid jail time they are offered 150 hours of community service. They are stuck mentoring hardship kids. Maybe jail time would have been easier.
